Hello, I’m Lucy Brooker. A British equine photographer, passionate horsewoman and founder of Cavalle Studio. Based in the heart of Berkshire’s equestrian country, I create fine art prints and private commissions that celebrate the beauty, presence and spirit of the horse. My work blends a deep understanding of the horse with a love for interiors that feel calm, refined and enduring. Resulting in artwork that belongs in thoughtful spaces. With over 20 years as a professional photographer, I bring together experience, instinct and a quiet reverence for the equine form.

Lucy Brooker is a highly accomplished British equine photographic artist whose work reflects a lifelong bond with horses and a disciplined visual practice. She holds a First Class Honours degree in Documentary and Moving Image and began her career in television at ITV, where she honed technical skill and visual storytelling.

A formative year living in Australia immersed her in equestrian life and deepened her instinct for capturing movement, light and atmosphere. Returning to the UK, Lucy became the official photographer for Guards Polo Club, working at the highest levels of equestrian sport and royal events and building an intuitive approach grounded in experience and trust with both horses and riders.

Her current work moves beyond documentation and into interpretation. Lucy focuses on stillness, presence and contained energy, often using techniques such as Intentional Camera Movement to suggest motion and reveal the inner character of her subjects. Her images distill strength and individuality into refined compositions that balance movement with control, creating equine fine art that stands out in interiors and collections.

Lucy now lives in a small Berkshire village, with her husband, two daughters, three homebred black Labradors and a small collection of ponies.
