Every horse has a story, but how that story is told can be as expressive as the horse itself. My work is fine art photography, shaped by my eye for design and interiors, creating statement pieces that feel perfectly at home in elegant, contemporary spaces.
Drawing on my background in styling and a love of beautiful, considered homes, I approach each portrait with both artistic and aesthetic intention. Using creative techniques such as intentional slow shutter speeds, soft directional light and painterly compositions, I capture movement and emotion in a way that feels almost abstract, a fusion of equine grace and design-led artistry.

Every portrait is created with an artist’s eye by a horsewoman’s heart. I look for the subtle gestures, the glances, the energy that makes your horse who they are.
The Portrait Experience
At their pace
Your Cavalle Portrait Experience is designed to be calm, creative and completely tailored to your horses pace. Shoots usually last between one and three hours, depending on whether we explore locations beyond the stable. Sessions are never rushed.
For horses that need to remain safely handled, I use a discreet photo halter with a long line. It allows your horse to appear completely free whilst staying secure. The line is carefully edited out in post-production. A little bit of magic that keeps everyone safe and relaxed. Lots of treats on hand for bending and making shapes is always useful too!
Safety first

I bring a mobile studio with cable-free lighting, which can be set up in an indoor school or barn. If there’s an open barn or sheltered space, we can often use the lights alone to create that fine art look without the full backdrop. Horses are usually curious and relaxed around the setup and I always take time to let them settle and suss me out before we begin. Wind and bad weather s not our friend so in this instance we will reschedule for a better day.

Each session includes both a location and a studio-style portrait, giving you a beautiful variety of images to choose from for your wall art. You’re welcome to be part of the portraits too, plus other family members and dogs can join in at no extra cost.
The focus is always on creating a small, carefully curated collection of around ten exquisite images, each one crafted to become a timeless piece of art for your home.

The Cavalle Portrait Experience is £650. This price includes your bespoke portrait session, travel anywhere within the South East of England plus museum grade 12 x 18 framed fine art piece presented in your choice of frame.
You’ll also receive personal guidance on how to prepare for your session, fine art editing of your images and a private viewing and selection consultation to help you choose the perfect pieces for your home.

Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours testing and refining the finest products used by both the photography industry and leading art galleries. Every material, finish and frame I offer has been carefully chosen for its quality, longevity and ability to showcase your horse at its absolute best.
My framers are true artisans, able to print on a range of exquisite mediums including fine art paper, acrylic and Dibond glass, with endless frame and mount options to suit your home’s style.
For those who love to display their images in different ways, I also offer beautifully crafted print boxes, designed to hold your favourite fine art prints as a stunning display piece and elegant coffee table books that take pride of place in your home.
